Tuesday, September 6, is just for students who are new to Notre Dame.
Grade 8 Orientation is expected to run from 9:00am until 2:30pm, with doors opening at 8:45am. Please come in through our Parker Street entrance as we will begin the day with Mass in the Auditorium.
👟 Dress comfortably.
You do not need to be in uniform for Gr 8 Orientation, though all students should adhere to the school dress code for casual days. (Review the section on Uniform in our School Handbook.)
💻 Bring a charged laptop.
Grade 8s have not yet been given portal access to MyEd. We'll guide you through the login process at Orientation.
You might want to come up with a strong password ahead of time. MyEd will prompt you to choose one that’s at least 8 characters long. Your password must also contain at least
1 number;
1 capital;
1 lowercase letter; and
1 symbol.
It must not contain ‘password’, your login ID, any part of your name, date of birth, or only sequential letters or numbers.
🥹 Don’t worry about not having your timetable yet!
Students will receive their schedules, as well as locker and combination lock, at Orientation.
🎒 Finally...
No need to bring lunch. That will be provided.
