Soccer Champs

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Soccer team for bringing home the BC Catholics Banner last week!

This makes it back-to-back years that the team has won BC Catholics. It was an extremely hard-fought tournament, and the boys battled extremely hard throughout their five games to come out on top.

They defeated Archbishop Carney in the final 3-0 against their extremely large home crowd.

Sebastian Cirotto won the Golden Boot Award, Justin George and Oliver Deveau were named tournament All-Stars, and Marcus D’Andrea was named tournament MVP.

Good luck to the team as they have 2 games this week. On Wednesday, they take on West Point Grey at Jericho at 3:30pm, and on Thursday, they take on Saint Georges at Saint Georges at 3:45pm.
