Varsity Girls at UBC

The Varsity girls’ volleyball team kicked off their season this past weekend at the UBC tournament.

The girls completely dominated on Friday, coming 1st in their pool. They then went on to win a super tough cross-over game on Saturday morning versus Handsworth and another tough quarter final game versus Dover Bay. They fell just short to a super tough South Delta team in the semi-finals.

The girls finished 4th among 32 teams, an amazing way to kick off the season.

The team plays back-to-back days at home: against LFA team this afternoon, September 20, at 5pm, and versus Crofton House tomorrow, September 21, also at 5pm.
